a good destiny.

It’s the unexpected that changes our lives.  Life seems incomplete without a plan. From day one, we are placed on a path that we are supposed to follow. Our parents and teachers give us the expectations they have for us and we set out to discover what this treasure map has in store for us.  Yet, we become so obsessed with these expectations that we feel everything in our lives must go according to plan. Whether it’s going to a raucous party or the age by which you want to be married, we have a strict perception of how our future should work.  But here’s a thing- the most exciting things in life are unexpected.  The future never unfolds exactly the way we expect it. Random factors come into play and force deviations from the perceived conclusion. Could you imagine how boring life would be if you knew how everything would turn out before you even experienced it? The world works in mysterious ways. Sometimes things will turn out in your favor. But when they don’t, you j...

Emotional Stripper by Jordan Springer What Are Emotions – Feelings? Different people define emotions in different ways. Some make a distinction between emotions and feelings saying that a feeling is the response part of the emotion and that an emotion includes the situation or experience, the interpretation, the perception, and the response or feeling related to the experience of a particular situation.  John D. (Jack) Mayer says, “Emotions operate on many levels.  They have a physical aspect as well as a psychological aspect.  Emotions bridge thought, feeling, and action – they operate in every part of a person, they affect many aspects of a person, and the person affects many aspects of the emotions.” Dr. Maurice Elias says, “Emotions are human beings’ warning systems as to what is really going on around them.  Emotions are our most reliable indicators of how things are going on in our lives.  Emotions help keep us on the right track by maki...

know YOURSELF.

Have you ever been with yourself? You, who truthfully and accurately know yourself.  Yourself who knows what you feel, what you really need, what you really want and what you really deserve. People around you may say that they know you but the fact is, they really know you based on how they see you, how they feel about you. But do they see you beneath that surface? Do they really dig deeper to know you? If they do, will they appreciate you to finally say that they know you? To know what you really feel? What you really need? What you really want? What you really deserve? You thought spending time with them for so many years can really make them knew you. That words can hurt you, how words can really hurt you, how words continue to hurt you. You thought people really knew you. That with just a look on your face, with just the tone of your voice,   they knew if you’re ok or not. That they knew you need them, they knew how much you need ...

gossip girl

" Gossip, as usual, was one-third right and two-thirds wrong"  - L.M. Montgomery, Chronicles of Avonlea Why gossip? Maybe some people feel superior and temporarily feel better when they judge others, maybe simply because they do not feel good about themselves. Some people who cannot create interesting discussions based on knowledge or ideas, gossiping can awaken their interests. So, they gossip out of boredom. Some people gossip in order to hurt those whose popularity, talents or lifestyles they envy. Some people gossip for attention. A person gets to be the center of attention temporarily while divulging a piece of gossip. Yet, spreading gossip is like buying attention- it is temporary and has little foundation. Some people gossip out of anger or unhappiness. Gossiping shows the gossiper's insecurity and mean-spiritedness. It also leaves everyone involved feeling as though they have just eaten a bad apple. People who gossip about you are really suf...

the mom is back.

I have this on March 2005. Since then, I’ve been writing and posting and writing and posting about anything that comes to my mind. I write about my thoughts, my disappointments, my dreams, my failures, my happiness…almost anything under the sun. I have also created other sites in xanga, iph, freewebs, multiply, tumblr…   And decided to leave blogspot on June 2011.   But now, I am back. Back to my old blogspot with my new template. Back to my old blogspot with new posts. Back to my old blogspot with new inspirations. Back to my old blogspot with new dreams. Join me again as I share myself as “no ordinary mom”.
