Twelve o'clock midnight of ninth of October, year nineteen seventy five, a baby girl was born to Herminio C. Geronimo Sr. and Enriqueta M. Montales. Hermie and Tita with five children namely William, Leila, Jocelyn, Jacinta and Herminio Jr. named the youngest Margarita, which means pearl, a name they got from the Beauty Queen, Margarita Moran. Margarita's nickname, "Jing" was given to her by her eldest brother kuya Billy. She has been the family's baby...called as "bunsoy" everytime they make lambing to her. Margarita is very shy...usually seen in red tube top with pig tails whenever she went out to play with her playmates. She has been the daddy's little girl. Taking her noon siesta in his father's tummy. She's even called as spoiled brat by his brother kuya Erick. Often times, her kuya Erick get jealous with the attention given to her by his father. During her kindergarten days, since she's very shy and quiet, she's been the favorite of the bullies...many of her classmates don't like her. It's her first day in class, one of her classmates, pulled her chair while she's standing up... and what do you expect? she fell in the floor when she's about to sit down unaware of what her classmate did...and they all laugh. But that was just for quite sometime...Margarita has proved that "hey, who gave you the right to do that to me, huh?" In her elementary days, she excelled in class, o well....haha! She has joined different contest, spelling bee, science quiz bee, layouting contest, poster making contest, paglikha ng kwento...see? she has the brain....haha! plus the extra curricular activities by joining the school choir and dance troop...talented huh? The second honorable mention was given to her when she graduated...a big achievement for her of course. She graduated High School in Sta. Ana Parochial School. She considered her high school days the most exciting and enjoyable one. Lots of friends...girl bonding...kikay stuffs...boys haha!...love letters....a typical teenage life...and she changed her nickname to "Margie"...kikay tlga...haha! The Designer in her, she took up Industrial Design but didn't finish it...o well, she can be a real designer in her own little way...maarte kse...sobra! She finished Industrial Engineering but not practicing it...o well, that's life. Now, the girl in red tube top with pig tails is now a wife...married to Sheirnan Ignacio, her "hon" who has been at her side, through thick and thin...in sickness and in health...who promised to spend the rest of his life with her....isn't that sweet??? They were blessed with two lovely kids....Louie Geraurd, Luigi boy now two years old and Jean Gaberell, Jule bebe, nine months old. Different in many ways, Luigi boy looks like his daddy and Jule bebe looks like his mommy...but both of them gave their parents a sense of fulfillment and joy when they came into their life... The Author, Margarita Geronimo Ignacio is welcoming everyone and join her as she shares all her joys, excitements, fears, frustrations and pains in life...making her strong person...that made her a real gorgeousmom.
