Pongky PONGX

Tomorrow, AUGUST 13, is the birthday of a very dear friend. I haven’t seen for quite sometime. I guess he’s busy taking care of his dad and I think that’s nice because he got to spend more time with his dad.

The group has planned to pay him a visit and surprise him on his birthday. Sadly, I won’t be able to join them and I’m posting him on my blog instead. I had emailed some of our friends and ask them to say something about this guy and send it to me thru email.

To update, as of 3:17pm I haven’t received any email from our friends…thanks for your cooperation guys! hmmmp!

I just finished uploading some group photos and it’s the highlighted guy in the photos I’m talking about.

Okay, it’s his birthday…so does this mean all the things I’m about to write here are all bright and beautiful? c’mon…okay, let’s start…

Precioso Alibangbang- his full name. During high school days, he is called as Press. His sisters call him Pongky and for us, he is Pongx.

If Aries is the big guy, Pongx is the fat guy! With his physique, he can be the bumbayin Santa Claus. Whenever we had our Christmas Get Together Party, I’m always have this idea of asking him if he could put on the Santa costume but I’m scared he might punch me in the nose…(o well, I know he wont because he loves me so) haha!

I have known him since First Year High School and I have known him deeper during our trip in Mount Makulot way back 2001. In fact, most of us were stunned with what we have found out about Pongx.

We see him as an introverted and ungentle man whose life is with his electric guitar and rock music. But beneath that is a person who is very sweet, a person who would care to listen to all your problems, with shoulders to cry on and would assure you that everything will be alright. Also, he can be seriously funny. That’s Pongx.

He even visited me when I was pregnant with my first kid…sweet diba?

Now he has found the right person to spend the rest of his life with. The person who would take care of him. I’m happy for you friend because you have found your one great true love! ahhhhh! Isn’t that sweet?

Another year older my dear friend…and I wish you all the happiness!
I miss those days we’re we’ll just sit and smoke and talked and laughed about silly things…and let me tell you one thing. I consider you as my best pal…un lang!
