Sonnet 43
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways
by Elizabeth Barrett BrowningHow do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from praise,
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints -I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! -and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

I remember this poem way back high school days. We recited this poem in the English class. Our instructor’s name is Ms. Estacio, oh my I forgot her first name to think she’s my favorite and so as the subject and the poem…
How can you say that you love a person? Love is the most wonderful feeling God ever created. It makes the world go round. It is the reason of all the things in the world. It multiplies life. When you’re in love, it gives you the inspiration, the courage, the energy, all the positive vibes to do everything and anything.
If the person makes you happy, can that be love?
Does it have to have a reason for loving a person? Can you just love simply because you just felt it? Do you love a person because you need that person or you need that person because you love that person?
Does loving a person means that you have to be with that person? Or a long distance relationship really works? Do you believe in the “out of sight…out of love”? For some, they tend to miss and eventually love a person more if they are apart for quite some time and for some, distance really matters, they tend to fall out of love.
How many percentage does the getting-to-know stage comprises in falling in love? Others say, get to know the person better first, do you really have to undergo that stage before letting yourself fall or you really need to because you don’t see any reason at all to fall for that person. Can you not know each other better while in the relationship?
Does it really hurts when you fall in love? Will you let yourself fall in love until it hurts?
Love is contagious and unexplainable. If you’re experiencing love, embrace it. There’s no need to question it why or how or where or when because the moment you feel it, you feel you’re the happiest person alive and be very thankful that you were given a chance to experience the most powerful thing.
If there are doubts and you are troubled by what you feel, you can either search for that reason and see yourself spending most of your time searching for an answer and lost the love forever. The question is plain and simple, does this person makes me happy? Am I happy with this person? If the answer is yes, no doubt, you feel love but if not, then it’s not.
No matter how far or near you are with the person you love, only love can bring you back together.
Getting to know each other is a never ending process of life. The person you knew back then will never be the same person after 5 or 10 years. People change, it can be for better or for worst but who can go wrong with love?
If someone told you that you they love you, nobody can tell you or command you to reciprocate because faking love is the most pathetic thing you could ever do.
The say, it's better to love and be loved, and get hurt than not to experience love at all. Love and hurt goes together. love + hurt = true happiness, just like a2 + b2= c2. But it has to be balanced. Hurt can help you learn about your mistakes, love can help you move on.
Today, may I request everybody to celebrate love.
No matter what kind love you are experiencing right now, there is only these three words you would love to say to the person you love…
